Introduction :Intention is to achieve higher quality of training, to meet the competition at international level and thus increasing prospect of employment in the Global Merchant Shipping market.

Job Opportunities : Shipping is a continuously growing industry, and trained persons find jobs in Indian and foreign shipping companies with attractive salaries.

Life on board Ships : Ships move along the coast and across the oceans and carry different types of cargoes. Number of persons working on a ship depends upon its type, size and its trade. The number of persons can range between 6-30 and greater number on passenger ships. It is important for each person to be able to work independently as well as in a small team. Physical health, agility, good habit, and discipline are very important qualities required of a seafarer. One needs to be willing to work with hands, in different conditions, be safety conscious, and be able to stay away from home and friends for few months at a time.

COURSE CONTENT: The course is conducted over 3 stages as follows:
STAGE 1: Pre Sea Program (PSP) 6 - months Pre sea training will be conducting. Upon completion trainees will be awarded the Pre-sea Certificate.

STAGE 2: On-board Structured Shipboard Training Program (SSTP) 18 - Months Sea with DLP going training on board merchant ships. A Distance Learning Program (DLP) will have to be completed by all the trainees during this stage.

STAGE 3: On completion of on-board training, this program provides all the necessary training required by STCW 95 and in order to be eligible for 2nd Mate Limited COC Exam - Written & Oral examination as a Deck Watch keeper (STCW 95 table A-II/1). During training and assessment the emphasis is on the Cadet demonstrating the range of knowledge and skills associated with the job of a Deck Watch keeper.

Eligibility: 12th Pass with any stream with minimum aggregate 40% marks overall and 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th class or Diploma. / Any Diploma holders with aggregate 50% in final year.
Age - 17.5 to 25 year
Medical Fitness: Medically fit eyesight 6/6 without external aids. No color blindness.
Selection Procedure: Candidate will undergo an aptitude and written tests followed by an interview. The final selection will only takes place after medical check-up through our panel Doctor.
Fee Structure: Total Course Fees - Rs 5.50 Lacs
